Why can't I change the locator control of an existing organization at the subinventory level?

You can only change the Locator Control value if all pending transactions are cleared and on-hand quantity doesn't exist in the subinventory.

If you want to implement locator control for a few subinventories and no locator control for other subinventories in the same organization, then you must select the Locator Control Determined at Subinventory Level parameter for the organization. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Inventory Organizations task:

Then, in the subinventory setup, you can enable or disable the locator control on the Edit Subinventories page. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Subinventories and Locators task to edit the locator control for your subinventory:
