Overview of Product Management Search
Product Management uses the Oracle Search Cloud and the OpenSearch infrastructure to support the new user experience for search.
Oracle Search provides a powerful, fast, secure, and efficient search engine that allows you to search data quickly and accurately.
Prerequisites
Before using the product search, you must make sure the index and views are configured. You must build the index at startup. All indexes are managed through the Configure Index task and all views are managed through the Configure View task.
To view or configure the index or views, you must have the required privileges. For more information about privileges, see Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM: Security Reference for Product Management guide, available at docs.oracle.com.
After configuring the indexes and views, you can start using the search. For information about how to use search, see Use Product Management Search (New User Experience).
