What Happens to Existing Actions When You Delete a Change Status

If you delete a workflow status from the change type configuration while there are pending change orders for the type, it can result in improper actions.

To prevent this, the application automatically assigns a set of default values for all actions in the Additional Workflow Controls table for the deleted status.

Note:

• Participants include reviewers, optional approvers, and approvers.
• Although this feature enables you to manage accidental deletion of a status, it's not recommended to do so. As a best practice, ensure that the change type doesn't have any pending change orders before you delete a status.
