Why am I not receiving change order and new item request approval notifications?

If you’ve configured approval rules using BPM Worklist, ensure that an attribute group used in the rule isn’t assigned to the root item class.

If the attribute group is already assigned to the root item class, you can modify the approval rule or associate the attribute group to a child item class:

Modify the approval rule:

In BPM Worklist, modify the approval rule in the following format:
<ItemClass>.< AttributeGroup>.<AttributeName>
For example, if the attribute group is Buying_Area and attribute is char1, here’s the modified approval rule:
JItemRootIccPrivate.itemEFFTLBUYING5FAREAPrivateVO.char1

Validate the modified rule.

Associate the attribute group to a child item class:

Using the Manage Item Classes task, dissociate the attribute group from the root item class and associate the attribute group to a child class. Before you dissociate the group, review the impact of this action on existing rules.

Redeploy the extensible flexfields and click Start Synchronization (in BPM Worklist).
