Assignment of Tasks

After the recalled items are traced, a sequence of tasks is assigned to them.

The task assignment is determined based on the product traceability status and replacement type captured in the recall notice.

Here is the sequence of tasks assigned for traced items based on their traceability status and replacement type:

  1. Perform Physical Count and Quarantine Recalled Parts

  2. Follow Recall Instructions

Inbound

  1. Deliver Recalled Parts to Quarantine Location

  2. Perform Scrap or Return to Supplier for Recalled Parts

  3. Raise Debit Memo Against Disposition for Recalled Parts

Note: Once the Locate Recalled Parts process is executed for a recall notice, recall count tasks are generated for each location. Also, an FYI notification is sent to the stakeholders as per the rules configured in BPM work list.
