Enrich Your Item Master

To enrich your item master:
  1. Go to the Product Information Management work area.
  2. From the Tasks panel tab and click Manage Items.
  3. Search for the item.
  4. From the search results, click the item for which you want to enrich the healthcare attributes.
    The Edit Item page is displayed.
  5. Click the Specifications tab and go to relevant item page for healthcare attributes. The predefined attributes are displayed without any values.
  6. Set the Register with External Healthcare Catalog option to Yes and click Save. The external healthcare provider matches the information based on the supplier part number and supplier name and shares the updated record with Product Hub.
  7. After the Product Hub Publication Job scheduled process job is successfully completed, the external healthcare catalog provider generates an enrichment file and uses the predefined import map called Item Enrichment with External Healthcare Catalog to automatically load the data back to Product Hub. The frequency of the enrichment updates can be discussed with the external healthcare catalog provider.
  8. After the item enrichment is processed, open the same item again and you can see that the healthcare attributes have values. These values are added from the external healthcare provider during enrichment.
  9. Go to the Relationships tab and then click Trading Partner Items.
    You can see that the manufacturer part number and name has been updated from the external healthcare provider. Also, the GTIN information must be available.
    This completes the item master enrichment process.
