Why am I unable to assign the item to a change order?

You can't assign an item to a change order in Product Development, if the item is created in Product Information Management.

Also, you can't assign an item to a commercialization change order in Product Information Management if the item:

• Is created in Product Development, and

• Is in the design lifecycle phase.
