Why can’t I change the edit item batch options for new item request or change order?

Editing of the new item request and change order options on the Item Batch page is restricted when the profile option EGP_CONVERSION_MODE has a profile option value of Yes.

The Yes option is used for performance reasons when initially importing items in large quantities. The Item Import scheduled process will then skip the security check for new item request and change order policies.

Use these steps to change this setting.

  1. From the Setup and Maintenance work area, select the Product Management offering.
  2. Select the Items functional area.
  3. Select the Manage Item Profile Options task.
  4. Select the EGP_CONVERSION_MODE profile option.
