Executive Reviews

The Executive Review dashboard supports the Sales and Operations Planning meeting. This meeting occurs every planning cycle in which senior stakeholders meet. The dashboard, which you access from the Sales and Operations work area, provides executive visibility to performance indicators, forecast issues, and operational issues.

The Executive Review dashboard provides visibility into key performance indicators, business trends, new product development metrics, and supply and demand mismatches across the process stages. The Executive Review dashboard contains seven predefined infotiles:

  • Plan versus Forecast: Compares the Operating Plan Value and Financial Forecast Value. The Operating Plan Value is the sum of the values of Shipment History and the Constrained Forecast value.

  • New Product Vitality: Displays the percentage of revenue contributed by a new product. New product revenue is the revenue from expected sales for products that have their Lifecycle Phase item attribute set to Prelaunch, Postlaunch, or Growth.

  • Forecast Value Comparison: Displays the comparison between the Consensus Forecast Value and the Final Sales Forecast Value.

  • Cost Comparison: View the manufacturing, purchase, carrying, and shipping costs.

  • Gross Margin: Displays the overall gross margin between revenue and cost.

  • Revenue and Gross Margin Percentage: Displays the revenue and gross margin percentage.

  • Inventory Turnover: View this graph to monitor inventory cover.
