Retrieve Inventory Item Costs Job
The Retrieve Inventory Item Costs schedule process retrieves the latest material cost information about all the child items of the assemblies, or subassemblies whose costing information exists in the costing system.
You can retrieve the material cost of an existing item from Costing. If the item has a cost attribute defined in Costing, the Material Cost of the item in Product Development is read-only.
When to Use
Run this process periodically to retrieve the material cost information about the child items of the assemblies or subassemblies whose cost information exists in the costing system.
Privileges Required
- Manage Item (EGP_MANAGE_ITEM_PRIV)
- Manage Scheduled Processes (FND_MANAGE_SCHEDULED_PROCESSES_PRIV)

Troubleshooting Information
- You can view the status of the process by selecting the row in the Scheduled Processes work area and viewing the log or process details.
- The validation errors and warning messages are displayed in the error log.
- Interactive warning validations aren’t performed.
- After you submit the program, you can perform the following actions as provided in the Scheduled Processes work area: Resubmit, Put on Hold, Cancel Process, and Release Process.
