Considerations for Configuring Quality Workflows

To ensure that the workflow of a quality action or issue doesn't get stuck, you must keep these considerations in mind while configuring a quality workflow.

  • The Next status must never be blank in the workflow. Add at least one status from succeeding statuses of the workflow to ensure that the quality action or issue can move to the next workflow.

  • Closed or Completed status must be added to any workflow to ensure the quality action or issue can be closed.

  • Ensure that the Closed or Completed status is always the last status in a workflow and that the second last status in the sequence of the workflow always has an option to move to the Closed or Completed status.
