Best Practices for Setting Up Replenishment Plans

You can configure replenishment plans in various ways to meet your business requirements.

This table explains the various configurations that you can use for your replenishment plans:

Integrated replenishment plan	To monitor and execute policies according to the generated forecast Optionally, you can use a weekly demand plan, a weekly replenishment plan, or an external forecast schedule for the forecast. Optionally, you can use the integrated replenishment plan to also rebalance the inventory by selecting the Rebalance inventory check box. Inventory rebalancing plan	To rebalance inventory among the item-location combinations in the clusters of a replenishment plan You must use another replenishment plan with a planning time level of week, month, or period to calculate the policy parameters. You must use another replenishment plan, a demand plan, or an external forecast schedule for the demand forecast. Optionally, if you've selected the Calculate replenishments check box, you can also configure the replenishment plan for end item substitution and supersession.
