Create Global Warming Potentials

Oracle Fusion Cloud Sustainability uses Global Warming Potentials (GWPs) to calculate CO2e emissions for greenhouse gases other than CO2 that are associated with the activity types you've defined.

Before you start

To perform this procedure, you must be assigned a role to access the Manage Global Warming Potentials task.
  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Global Warming Potentials task:
    • Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management, Product Management, or Procurement
    • Functional Area: Sustainability
  2. On the Global Warming Potentials page, click Add GWP.

  3. In the New GWP drawer, select an emission type and optionally enter a description.

Note: If you plan to use the CO2 and CO2e emission types, then ensure to set their GWP values to 1.
  4. In the GWP field, enter the GWP value corresponding to the emission type.

  5. Enter a start date. The default value is the system date.
  6. Click Create. Or, click Create and Add Another to create more GWPs.

    The GWP is created.
