Reset Serial Number Restrictions to Quarantine Recalled Items

Manage product recall during subinventory transfer or movement request transfers.

When you perform a subinventory transfer or movement request transfer for serial-controlled items from quantity tracked to non-quantity tracked subinventories or for any movement request issues or miscellaneous issues for serial-controlled items subjected to product recall, you must:

• Set the Receipt of Issued Serial Numbers Restricted profile option to No to receive the serial numbers back into the Recall subinventory using the Recall Receipt transaction that occurs during recall count.
• After the receipt is processed, you can set the Receipt of Issued Serial Numbers Restricted profile option to Yes to stop the receipt of issued serial numbers for an item.
