Set Up User Credentials for the Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector

This topic provides the steps for setting up the user credentials for using the Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector in feature-based forecasting for new products.

These user credentials are used for extracting data from Oracle Demand Management to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage service through the Business Intelligence Cloud Connector.

Follow these steps to set up the user credentials for the Business Intelligence Cloud Connector:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, on the Tasks panel tab, select Manage Setup Content.

   The Manage Setup Content page opens.

2. Under Topology Definition, click Manage Integration of Additional Applications.

   The Manage Integration of Additional Applications page opens.

3. Click Create.

   The Create Application Integration page opens.

4. In Application Name, enter SCP_BICC_REST_CREDENTIALS.

5. In Full URL, enter the URL of the Business Intelligence Cloud Connector.

6. In Partner Name, enter the user-defined partner name of the Business Intelligence Cloud Connector.

7. In Security Policy, select oracle/wss_http_token_over_ssl_client_policy.

   The User Name and Password fields are displayed.

8. In User Name and Password, enter the credentials of a user who has the privileges to use the Business Intelligence Cloud Connector.

9. Click Save and Close.
