Update one activity type

patch

/fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/sustainabilityActivityTypes/{ActivityTypeId}

Request

Path Parameters
  • The value of this parameter could be a hash of the key that is used to uniquely identify the resource item. The client should not generate the hash key value. Instead, the client should query on the collection resource with a filter to navigate to a specific resource item. For example: products?q=InventoryItemId=
Header Parameters
  • If the REST API supports runtime customizations, the shape of the service may change during runtime. The REST client may isolate itself from these changes or choose to interact with the latest version of the API by specifying this header. For example: Metadata-Context:sandbox="TrackEmployeeFeature".
  • The protocol version between a REST client and service. If the client does not specify this header in the request the server will pick a default version for the API.

  • Emission Type Associations
    Title: Emission Type Associations
    Represent the association between an emission type and an activity type. An emission type is a substance such as a greenhouse gas or an air pollutant that's emitted by a process such as fossil fuel combustion or a chemical reaction. For example, CO2 and CH4 could be associated with an activity type, stationary combustion.
  • Title: End Date
    Date till when an activity type stays valid.
  • Measure Type Associations
    Title: Measure Type Associations
    Represent the association between a measure type and an activity type. A measure type is a variable whose value is multiplied by an emission factor to obtain the emissions for an emission type. The value of a measure type has an associated unit of measure. For example, Fuel Quantity might have Gallon as the unit of measure.
  • Title: Scope
    Maximum Length: 255
    Scope of emissions as defined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, that's, Scope 1, Scope 2 Location-based, Scope 2 Market-based or Scope 3.
  • Title: Scope Category
    Maximum Length: 80
    Category to which scope 3 events, purchase, or activity belongs.
  • Title: Scope Category Code
    Maximum Length: 30
    Code that identifies a Scope 3 category.
  • Title: Scope Code
    Maximum Length: 30
    Code that identifies a scope.
  • Title: Start Date
    Date from when an activity type becomes valid.

Examples

This example describes how to update an activity type.

Example cURL Command

Use the following cURL command to submit a request on the REST resource.

curl -X PATCH -u "username:password" -H "Content-Type: application/vnd.oracle.adf.resourceitem+json" -d 'request payload'  "https://servername/fscmRestApi/resources/version/sustainabilityActivityTypes/ActivityTypeId"
For example:
curl -X PATCH -u "username:password" -H "Content-Type: application/vnd.oracle.adf.resourceitem+json" -d 'request payload'  "https://servername/fscmRestApi/resources/version/sustainabilityActivityTypes/300100597335120"

Example Request Body

The following example includes the contents of the request body in JSON format. You replace the request payload in the cURL command with the contents of the Example Request Body. The request payload specifies attribute values that the command will use in the record that it updates.

{
 "Scope": "Scope 2 market-based",
 "StartDate": "2024-05-20"
}

Example Response Body
