Note:

After you create a resource, you can check the Automation equipment attribute of equipment resource to define to represent a robot or an industrial equipment that can automatically perform a work order operation. You would need to define document items in fusion cloud product development to represent program files used by the automation equipment and associate one or more program files to it by clicking on the Program files icon. You can review the current revision of a program file represented by that of the document item. Changes to the program file are managed by managing changes to the corresponding document items.

The definition of a resource as automation equipment is synchronized to IoT Production Monitoring for further configuration and onboarding.

Note: The Automation equipment attribute of a resource is displayed only if the Automate manufacturing execution with robotic and industrial equipment plant parameter is enabled.
