Technical Control Parameters

The Enable Multithreading and Parameter Overrides options are available on the Technical tab in the Supply: Advanced Options dialog box.

Enable Multithreading

You can use multithreading to decrease the overall runtime of a supply plan.

In the plan options, navigate to the Supply: Advanced Options dialog box, Technical tab, and select the Enable multithreading check box. When selected, the planning process implements multithreading during the plan run.

Parameter Overrides

The Parameter Overrides field provides a mechanism to change default planning behavior. It’s used, only when instructed by Oracle support, to resolve select issues raised as part of a service request.

In the plan options, navigate to the Supply: Advanced Options dialog box, Technical tab. Enter one or more values in the Parameter Overrides field. If more than one value is entered, use commas to separate values.
