Create Invoice Classification Rules

You can create invoice classification rules by using the Invoice Classification Rules page.

Before you start

To perform this procedure, you must be assigned a role that has all the privileges of the predefined Sustainability Analyst role.
  1. Click Navigator > Sustainability > Invoice Classification Rules.
  2. On the Invoice Classification Rule page, click Create Rule.
  3. On the New Rule page, create a rule as follows:
    1. In the Name field, enter the rule name.
    2. From the Start Date field, select the data from which the rule will be active. Optionally, enter an end date to specify the date from which the rule will turn inactive.
    3. From the Rule Type drop-down list, select Assign to create assignment rules, and select Exclude to create exclusion rules.
    4. In the Rank field, enter a unique rank number that is used for sequencing the rule execution. This is applicable only for assignment rules.
    5. From the Activity Classification drop-down list, select the required activity type and activity type attributes combination. This is applicable only for assignment rules.
    6. In the Conditions sections, select All or Any to specify whether all conditions must be met or any condition must be met to run the rule.
    7. To create rule conditions, click the Create icon.
    8. In the New Condition drawer panel, specify the invoice attribute on which the condition must be applied, From the Operator drop-down list, select the comparison operator for the rule. Then, enter a value for the attribute
    9. Click Save.
    10. To add more conditions, repeat steps 3.g through 3.i.
  4. Click Save.
