Prerequisites for Configuring Invoice Classification Rules

Perform these tasks before you create invoice classification rules.

Before you start

To perform this procedure, you must be assigned a role that has all the privileges of the predefined Sustainability Analyst role.
  1. Ensure that you have emission factor mappings configured and uploaded.
  2. Sync activity classifications as follows:
    1. Click Navigator > Sustainability > Invoice Classification Rules.
    2. On the Invoice Classification Rules page, click Sync Activity Classifications. This will populate the list of values for the Activity Classification field when you create a rule.
    Note: Each time you create emission factors for a new combination of activity type and activity type attributes, ensure to sync activity classification so that the newly added combinations are added to the Activity Classification list.
