Configure Guided Task Flows
You can create and configure a guided task flow that providing global constraints, that guide the users to select the correct data for the tasks within the flow. For example, you can provide a master organization value that's used in searches within the flow or select processing options such as submit changes to change orders. In addition, you can configure each task within the flow to control labels presented to the user and further task level constraints.
After configuring the guided task, the Administrator activates the flow to make the flow available for all users.
- Basic details such as category, name, code, description and so on.
- Add a background image
- Configure criteria
- Add tasks
- Enable data security and add security operations
Additional Features When Configuring Guided Tasks
- View Tasks for a Guided Task Flow:
To view the list of tasks for a guided task flow, on the Configure Guided Tasks page, click Tasks in the Actions column for a guided task flow for which you want to view the tasks. A drawer appears that lists the tasks associated with the guided task flow.
- Export Guided Task:
To export a guided task, on the Configure Guided Tasks page, for the guided task that you want to export, click
in the Actions column and select Export. The guided task is exported to an XML file and downloaded to your system automatically.
- Delete Guided Task:
To delete a guided task flow, on the Configure Guided Tasks page, for the guided task that you want to delete, click
in the Actions column and select Delete. A message appears asking for confirmation. Click Delete. The guided task is deleted.
- Sort Guided Tasks: To sort guided tasks, on the Configure Guided Tasks page, click Sort By and select any of the following options:
- Name A-Z
- Name Z-A
- Last Updated – Latest to Oldest
- Last Updated – Oldest to Latest
- Show/Hide Columns: To set the columns, on the Configure Guided Tasks page, click the Columns icon. In the Columns window, use the
icon to drag-and-drop the column names between the Show and Hide sections. You can also click the checkbox to show or hide columns. You can show/hide the following columns:
- Name
- Status
- Category
- Last Updated
- Last Updated By
- Date From
- Country
