Assignments
On the Assignments tab, you can quickly search, identify, and assign technicians to work order operations. Here, you can complete bulk assignments of resources for an upcoming week.
On this page, you use the search in the context of a maintenance organization. The search results are by the selected organization. You can change the organization using the drop down at the top of the page.
Work Order Search and Results
Use the keyword search, if you're searching for a specific work order or asset. For bulk assignments, use the search filters: start date, end date, and selected resource. You can also sort the results using the toggle. Optionally, you can save your search as a saved search.
- Start time of the resource.
- Work order number and status.
- Resource name, description, and duration required. If the same resource is defined across more than one operation, or all the operations, then a single row is presented with the cumulative total time.
- Asset number being repaired or serviced.
- Status: Assigned, Partially Assigned, or Unassigned.
If you expand the row, you'll see these additional details:
- Asset description
- Start Date and time
- End Date and time
- Work Center
- Profile Name (if you're using HCM Qualification Profiles)
- Priority
Assignments
Review the work order and resource results rows for Pending or Unassigned statuses.
When you click a work order row, the right-side region is refreshed and shows the matching resource instances for a selected resource and work center. You can click a resource instance and assign or unassign it from the operation. This allows you to quickly re-assign work to another available resource.
