How can I inspect serial controlled items?

You can inspect serial controlled items during work in process and inventory inspection. The inspection procedure for serials is same as it's for samples.

Note:

For serial controlled items, while creating an ad hoc inspection for an inventory or work in process, the following values set for serial generation are considered:

• Entry at sales order, transfer order, or work order issue

• Entry at inventory pick

You can specify, if during inspection, results must be entered against samples or serial numbers.
