Enable or Disable Update Modes for the Audit Trail for Measure Updates

You can enable or disable the update modes for the audit trail for measure updates that's displayed through the Audit Trail for Measure Updates dialog box and Audit Trail of Measure Updates table.

By default, the Audit Trail for Measure Updates dialog box and Audit Trail of Measure Updates table display information for the following kinds of updates:

  • Those that you make manually in a cell of a pivot table
  • Those that you make through imported Microsoft Excel workbooks

Also, the dialog box and table don't display information for updates made through REST resources.

For more information about the update modes, see the topic titled Overview of Viewing the Audit Trail for Measure Data.

You can disable the update mode for updates made through imported workbooks and enable the update mode for updates made through REST resources.

  1. In the Plan Inputs work area or the work area for your module in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning, on the Tasks panel tab, in Configuration, click Manage Planning Profile Options.
The Manage Planning Profile Options page opens.
  2. Search for the profile option code named SCP_PARAMETER_OVERRIDES, and select it.
Note: If the profile option isn't available, you need to create it. See the information available in the topic titled Create and Edit Profile Options.
  3. In the Profile Values section, select the row for the site level or a user, and do the following in the field in the Profile Value column:
    • To disable the update mode for updates made through workbooks, enter the following value: DisableAuditFromImportFromExcelUpdate=TRUE
    • To enable the update mode for updates made through REST resources, enter the following value: EnableAuditFromRestUpdate=TRUE
Caution: If you enable the update mode for updates made through REST resources, the volume of audit data that's collected might become huge.

You can enter multiple profile values for the site or a user provided you separate the values with the space or semicolon. Whether you can select the site or user depends on the enabled levels in the profile option.

  4. Click Save and Close.
