Implementation Overview

Learn about the types of implementation available for Oracle Fusion Cloud Sustainability.

Oracle Sustainability provides two approaches for implementation - rapid implementation and regular implementation.

Rapid implementation provides organizations with a means to get familiar with Oracle Sustainability by using a sample configuration. To perform rapid implementation, Oracle provides a configuration package containing preconfigured setup data.

By using the preconfigured setup data, you can implement Oracle Sustainability quickly and understand its features and capabilities. With this understanding, you can quickly update the setup created through rapid implementation to meet your specific business needs.

On the other hand, regular implementation is elaborate and complete, involving detailed configuration procedures. In this approach, you perform the setup configuration procedures while also configuring Oracle Sustainability as per your business needs at each stage.

After you complete your implementation, you can create or import activities in one of the following ways:

• Create activities manually in Oracle Sustainability.
• Generate activities automatically from Payables Invoices by defining invoice classification rules.
• Import large volumes of activities by using file-based data import (FBDI).
