Enable OTBI Analysis As Scorecard Metrics
Create and display an OTBI analysis as a scorecard metric on Maintenance Supervision.
These are the settings you need to complete to enable an OTBI analysis:
Settings | Details | Description |
---|---|---|
Profile Option | ORA_MNT_SUPERVISION_REDWOOD_ENABLED |
Set the profile option to Yes to enable Maintenance Supervision as a task on the task menu of the Maintenance Management landing page. |
Privileges |
|
Users need these privileges to manage the metrics on the Maintenance Supervision workbench. |
After your settings are ready, do this:
- Create an analysis in OTBI and save it to the Custom folder directly or create a new subfolder under Custom and save your analysis there. Other folders you see are for seeded OTBI; you can't use them.
- Limit the data set returned by the analysis. For example, if you create an analysis
from the work order data, you can add a filter such as Scheduled Start Date. This
filter uses an advanced SQL filter to limit the data set to work orders in the last
90 days. The syntax in this example is
"Work Order", "Scheduled Start Date" < = Current_date - 90.
- After you have saved your analysis, enable it as a scorecard metric:
- Create a Configuration to visualize the analysis on the page. To access the
Visualization Configurations page, edit the URL of your environment,
appending:
fscmUI/redwood/cx-analytics/application/container/dvconfig
. - Click Add to create a new configuration.
- Select OTBI Analysis for Type and search for your saved analysis by name.
- Pick your visualization type and other configuration details. You can add a metric card or a visualization such as a bar chart.
- Set it to active and click the Create action.
- Navigate to the landing page and click the Edit Page Layout button.
- Search for the metric analytic and add it to the scoreboard.
- Add analytic charts to the panel area.
- Create a Configuration to visualize the analysis on the page. To access the
Visualization Configurations page, edit the URL of your environment,
