Additional Features
The following additional features are available on the Product Management Search page:
- View selection: Select another view to change the attributes in the search and the search configuration. All views are created on the View Management page.
- Clipboard: Select one or more rows and click Clipboard to add them to the clipboard. The items will be available in the application’s clipboard and can be added to pages in the work areas. The clipboard is now persisted. This allows to use the fast search on the pages.
- Hyperlink on the name: Click this link to view the details.
- Sort: Click the small arrows in each column to sort the results in ascending or descending order.
- Revision selector: Control the revision that the results data
displays. You can select one of the following:
- Current: Current effective revision, where the revision is before the current date.
- Latest: Latest revision, where effective date of the future revision is greater than the currently effective revision.
- Export: Select up to 10,000 rows in the search results and export them to an Excel sheet.
- Adjust Column Widths: You can adjust and save column widths
for both system and personal views. All users can access system views while personal
views are only accessible to the user who has created it and the administrator.
Previously, if column width changes were made within a view, you had to redo the
same changes when re-accessing the view. From this update onward, the column widths
are persisted as part of the saved view for the personal saved search. To change the
column width:
- Hover on the line between the two column headers. The cursor changes to
.
- Click and drag the cursor either to the left or the right to adjust the column width.
- To save the changes made to the column widths, click the View name, then
click the Edit icon next to the view name.
The Columns drawer is displayed on the right side.
- Click Save to save the column width dimension changes you made on the Product Management Search page.
- Hover on the line between the two column headers. The cursor changes to
- Filters: Click Filters beneath the Search text box to open the Filters drawer, where you can specify the filter value.
- Clear: Click Clear beneath the Search text box to remove the applied filters.
