Guidelines for Working with the Segmentation Feature

This topic provides guidelines for using the segmentation feature with your demand, demand and supply, replenishment, sales and operations, or supply plan.

When you use the segmentation feature, to ensure that you avoid performance-related issues, do the following:

• Limit segment groups to 10 or less.
• In each segment group, limit segments to 20 or less.

  You shouldn't have more than 200 segments for use in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning.

• In each segment, limit criteria to 20 or less.

  You shouldn't have more than 4,000 segment criteria for use in Oracle Supply Chain Planning.
