Check Constraints for Deletion Group

Constraints maintain data integrity so that pending transactions that involve objects in deletion groups aren't affected during purges.

Before submitting a deletion group for processing, you must check constraints to make sure that it's safe to submit the objects for deletion. The products that are checked for constraints are:

• Product Hub
• Procurement
• Inventory
• Shipping
• Receiving
• Manufacturing
• Sales Forecast
• Sales Catalog
• Opportunity Management
• Order Capture
• Lead Management
• Configurator
• Supply chain Collaboration

When an item is in a deletion group, the constraint check determines whether there are any open transactions involving the item.

To check constraints:

1. On the Deletion Group page, select one or more deletion groups for which you want to check constraints.
2. From the Actions menu, click Check Constraints.
   When the Status shows Completed and the Last Activity is Constraints Check, then the Last Activity Status indicates whether there were errors.

   If Last Activity Status for a deletion group shows Errors, click the group's name to open it.

3. On the <Deletion Group name> page, objects with errors shows the Status as Errors in the Deletion Status column.
4. Click the Errors link to open the Error Details drawer panel, which displays a list of messages about the errors that prevent the object from being deleted.
