Promise Sales Orders in Your Transfer Flows

Use a transfer order to transfer your item from one business unit to another business unit in the same organization.

You can do an interorganization transfer or create a transfer order to do the transaction.

You create a transfer order as a new document in Inventory Management:

• Use the document to select, ship, receive, deliver, and return the item.
• View shipments and receipts for the transfer order.
• Update attributes on the transfer order, such as source organization, requested delivery date, requested quantity, and so on.
