Backlog Manager (Job Role)

Individual responsible for managing the fulfillment of an enterprise order backlog efficiently and for ensuring that the most important sales orders are fulfilled optimally. In a dynamic environment where component availability, resource availability, customer requirements, and business priorities change frequently, the Backlog Planner plays an important role by ensuring scarce supply is allocated to prioritized demands to maximize business objectives and customer satisfaction. Order backlog refers to all sales orders that have been promised by the enterprise but have not been shipped yet.
