View Notifications

You can review approval and FYI notifications of concepts, proposals and requirements in a new format. This applies to both in-app and email notifications.

The notification types include:
  • Concept Approval and FYI Notification
  • Proposal Approval and FYI Notification
  • Requirements Approval and FYI Notification

Approval and FYI notifications

Note: To use this feature, you must opt in to the feature: Redwood: Use Redwood-Style Approval and FYI Notifications for Innovation Management.
Here are the attributes shown in the Details section of all the notifications:
  • Object Name: Link that opens the object details on a new page.
  • Status of the notification.
  • Number: Only available in concepts and proposals.
  • Assignee
  • From
  • Assigned Date
  • Outcome: Only available when Assignee acts on the approval task
  • Task Number
  • Approvers
  • Observers

Concept Approval and FYI Notifications

  • In Concept Details section:
    • Description
    • Version
    • Type
    • Owner
    • Due Date
  • In Analysis section:
    • Target Cost: target value
    • Target Weight: target value
    • Target Power: target value

Proposal Approval and FYI Notifications

Let’s look at the attributes that are specific to the proposal approval and FYI notifications.
  • In the Business Case Summary section, details of the use case of the proposal are provided.
  • In General Information section:
    • Description
    • Version
    • Last Concept Version
    • Target Cost: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
    • Average Selling Price: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
    • Funding Request For: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
    • Funding Amount: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
    • Allocated Budget
    • Business Objectives
    • Business Unit
    • Product Line
    • Status
    • Proposal Type
    • Primary Justification
    • Secondary Justification: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
  • In Financial Performance section:
    • Baseline Date

    • Net Present Value: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.
    • Break Even Time: This attribute is displayed only when a value exists.

Requirements Approval and FYI Notifications

Let’s look at the attributes that are specific to the requirements approval and FYI notifications.
  • In Requirements section:
    • Number
    • Requirement: name of requirement
    • Priority: priority of the requirement
    • In Scope
    • Estimates
    • Fulfilled
Important Considerations
  • You should have Review Product Requirement (ACN_REVIEW_PRODUCT_REQUIREMENT_PRIV_OBI) privilege to access the Oracle Analytics Publisher notification.
  • After you opt-in, the application automatically uses the new predefined Oracle Analytics Publisher template.
    • Proposal Participant And Workflow Notification Report
    • Concept Participant And Workflow Notification Report
    • Requirement Participant And Workflow Notification Report
  • To hide attributes in the notification, you must configure the new predefined template.
  • Images in the Business Case Summary for proposal aren't included in the notification.
  • Send Object notifications aren't included in FYI notifications.
