Create Manufacturer Part

You can create a manufacturer part from the new user interface.

You can create or edit a Manufacturer Part from the following locations:

• Manufacturer MPN tab
• Product Management Landing Page

Create a Manufacturer Part from Manufacturer MPN Tab

Here’s how you create a new manufacturer part from the Manufacturer MPN tab:

1. In the Product Management Landing page, search and select the manufacturer.
2. In the MPN tab of the manufacturer, click Add.
3. In the New Manufacturer Part side panel that opens, enter the details of the new manufacturer part.
4. Click Create.

   A new manufacturer part is created.

Note: When you create a new manufacturer part from the MPN tab, the Trading Partner Type and Manufacturer are defaulted to Manufacturer and Manufacturer Name respectively. Both of these attributes are read-only and can't be changed.

Create a Manufacturer Part from Product Management Landing Page

Here’s how you create a new manufacturer part from the Product Management Landing page:

1. In the Product Management page, click Actions, and search for New Manufacturer Part.
2. In the New Manufacturer Part window that opens, enter the details of the new manufacturer part.
3. Click Create.

   A new manufacturer part is created.
