How You Configure and Extend Applications
By default, the application provides robust functionality, tailored to support most business requirements of an organization. However, you can still make changes to your application to best fit your specific business or personal needs. For Oracle Maintenance, you can use Flexfields and Application Composer to configure and extend the work order and asset objects.
To the Redwood pages you can add Business Rules, Guided Journeys, and the Visual Builder studio to configure and extend the pages.
Guided Journeys
You can enable these pages for Oracle Maintenance:
- Supplier Warranty
- Maintenance supervision
- My Maintenance Work
Go through these topics if you plan to set up Guided Journeys, Business Rules, and Visual Basic Studio:
- See the Guided Journeys topic to configure guided journeys that help users complete tasks, in line with your business processes.
- See the Business Rules topic to configure business rules for Redwood pages.
- See the Extending Redwood Applications for HCM and SCM Using Visual Builder Studio guide to use Visual Basic Studio to extend your Redwood pages.
