Update Predefined Extensible Flexfield Attributes to Maintain Product Lines

Use the Product Line extensible flexfield to select from a controlled list of product lines through a value set.

Changes to this field are redlined on change orders, with full visibility into what changed, when, and by whom. Value set entries can be expanded, deprecated, or retired through appropriate governance. This integrates seamlessly with OTBI, REST APIs, and product rules, eliminating the need for catalog-based workarounds.
Note: To view the product line extensible flexfield in Product Management pages, you must add the product line attributes to the Item index and rebuild the index.
