How do I create inventory zones and assign workers to zones?
Use the Inventory Zones and Zone Worker Assignments task to create zones and then assign workers to them.
Create a New Zone

In the Inventory Management work area, click
, select Inventory Zones task, and then click Create.
- Enter the Zone Name and Description for the zone, and then click Create.

After you create a zone, add supported activities, subinventory, and locators.

In the Activities section, click
, and then select supported activities.

In the subinventories and locators section, click
, and then search for and select subinventories and locators.

In the Activities section, click
- Click Add to include them in the zone.
- Click Activate to make the zone active.
Assign Workers to Zone

In the Inventory Management work area, click
, select the Zone Worker Assignments task or select in-app navigation to go to the Zone Worker Assignments page.

Search for and select the zone name, and then click
.
View current assignments by zone or by worker. Use additional filter chips, such as Status and Activity Type for advanced search. - Select the activity type to assign workers.
- Select Assign workers from other zones or Assign new workers option to select workers, and then click Assign.
Assign Zones to Worker
Alternatively, you can assign zones to workers.
- In the Zone Worker Assignments page, click Zone filter chip, select Worker, and then click Assign.
- Select Zone name and Activity Type, and then click Assign.
