Associate Line Operations with Workstations

You can optionally associate a specific line operation sequence with a workstation to report completion of a count point operation using Smart Operations.

Associating individual line operations with workstations lets operators complete and report intermediate operations for a flow schedule on the production line. Use line operations and workstations for supply planning and production scheduling.

1. In the Work Definition Overview work area, select the Production Lines action.
2. From the Actions menu for your production line, select Manage Line Operations.
3. Click Edit against a line operation sequence and select an existing Workstation for the line operation.
4. After assigning workstations to the desired line operation sequences, click Apply.
