Complete with Details

You can report completion of a flow schedule using Complete with Details when additional information, such as inspection results, or the lot and serial number information for the product or material, are required.

To report flow schedule completion using complete with details action:

  1. Navigate to the Work Execution Overview work area.
  2. From the Actions or Tasks menu, select Flow Schedules Execution.

    The Production Lines page opens displaying the production lines that have been identified for the organization.

  3. Select a production line and click View Flow Schedules to review the flow schedule summary for the production line.

    The Flow Schedules page displays the schedules that are sequenced for execution on the production line. The flow schedules are displayed in the order of the build sequence.

    Note:

    If you have enabled individual line operation completions, then you are prompted to select the line operation sequence.

    Select the Line Operation Sequence and click Submit. The flow schedules with operations associated with the selected line operation sequence are displayed.

  4. Select a flow schedule and click Complete with Details.

    You are guided through the steps that apply, such as any applicable inspection details, product details, and material details.

  5. On the Quality inspection step, update the inspection results under the Result column for the predefined inspection characteristics and confirm the updates in the Apply column.

    If the work definition associated with the flow schedule defines an inspection plan, then you are prompted to enter the inspection results for one or more samples. The flow schedule quantities are reported as completed or scrapped depending upon the results of the inspection.

  6. Click Continue.
  7. On the Product Details step, provide lot or serial numbers if your product items are lot or serial controlled.

    If an item was scrapped in the Quality inspection step, then you are required to select the scrap reason here.

  8. Click Continue.
  9. On the Material Details step, provide lot or serial numbers if your material components are lot or serial controlled.

    Note: You can also scan the lot or serial number of the component.

    A green check mark against the Status column for a component indicates that all required details have been provided for the component.

  10. Click Submit to complete the flow schedule.
