Record and Collect Process Data for an Operation

If your manufacturing engineer has added operational parameters for the work definition operation, you can record or automatically capture process data as operational parameter values when completing the operation at a workstation.

If your manufacturing process has connected equipment that can provide readings for the process operational parameters, process data is collected automatically from associated sensors in the connected equipment. For example, operational parameters can include temperature and pressure sensor readings. Operational parameters can also include compliance data, such as emission levels.

When you complete the operation at a workstation, the Parameters page lets you record operational parameters associated with the operation. If connected equipment is configured to collect data automatically, then the collected parameters and their values are shown under the Automated Parameters section.

Your production supervisor can see the recorded operational parameters under the work order Transaction History tab for the work order in Production Supervision. Any generated electronic production records also include the recorded operational parameters. Details such as time of collection, equipment details, operational parameter values, and whether in range are included for each completed transaction.
