Edit Formula

You can add, edit, and delete formulas and their constituents — products and ingredients.

Here's how you edit the formula:

1. Click the Select and Add Items icon in the toolbar to open the Search and Select drawer.
2. In the drawer, search and select to add one or more ingredients to the formula. You can also search for more ingredients or use a saved search.

   You can use filter chips with multi-select to refine your search.

   The count on the Add button shows the number of ingredients you’re adding. Click the Show Selected button to view the ingredients you’ve chosen.

3. After you add rows, the product type defaults to Ingredient. If you don’t want to add the row as an ingredient, change the Product Type field to Co-product or By-product before saving your changes.
   Note: While a formula item can be a co-product, by-product, or ingredient, standard items can only be ingredients.
