Configure Index Search Options

You can configure the search options for an index using the Settings tab on the Configure Index page. Move the slider to the right to enable any or all the following options:

• Disable autocomplete: Prevents suggestions from appearing in the search field as you type the search terms. If the autocomplete or autosuggest search option provides a suggested match that might not actually be what you're searching for and it’s difficult to select a different value, you can disable the autocomplete or autosuggest search option.
• Enable grid: Displays the search results as a grid including column grouping headers to show the context for extensible flexfield attributes.
• Enable simple query search: Enables users to perform a search using a query that contains a combination of operators, phrase search, and suggested filters.
