How do I set up priority order for locations to enable put away suggestions?

Set up the system generated recommendations based on the priority order of your choice for optimal storage location for the received items instead of workers selecting locations to put away items randomly. Use the Advanced Inventory Parameters task to enable put away suggestions.

Here's how:

  1. In Setup and Maintenance, search for and select Advanced Inventory Parameters task.
  2. Select the organization and then click .
  3. Select the Enable put away suggestions checkbox, and then set priority 1 to priority 4 in a order of your choice.
    • A specific subinventory and locator (item transaction defaults).
    • Item subinventory and locator association.
    • A specific zone (defaulted from Item Category defined for Put Away activity of Zone definition).
    • Where on-hand already exists.
  4. Click Save.
