Identify Tasks and Objects in Product Management Work Area

You can use the visual indicators on the Product Management pages to easily identify the tasks and objects.

Use the distinct icons for items, manufacturers, and workflow objects to quickly identify the objects you're working with. Additionally, icons are displayed next to the tab names, making it easier to distinguish between them and navigate quickly and accurately to the desired open tab.

You can access the Saved Searches, Clipboard, and Recently Visited sections using the icons available at the top left of the Product Management landing page. When you click an icon, the panel opens. You can maximize, minimize, or close the Saved Searches, Clipboard, or Recently Visited sections using the icons.

You can only add items to the clipboard and spotlight if you've the view or manage permission to those items using access control list. From the clipboard, you can navigate to the various tabs of an item according to the permissions defined in the item access control list.

Similarly, view the items in the recently visited section if you've the view or manage permission on the item.

Object icons are shown beside the page title and on the tabs at the bottom (before the object name or number) that helps to identify the object type. Icons are available for the following object types:

• : Icon for the Item object
• : Icon for the Workflow object
• : Icon for the Manufacturer object

A new page title is added for the item pages accessed from the Affected Items tab, along with the icons to provide clarity regarding the changed object.
