Add Coverage to Sales Orders You Already Submitted

Add coverage item Gold Extended Warranty to an order line on sales order 123456, which is a sales order you already submitted.

Create the sales order:

1. Go to the Order Management work area, then create a new sales order.

2. On the New Sales Order page, complete the order header, then search for:

   Attribute	Value
   Description	Warranty

3. In the search results, select Gold Extended Warranty, then click OK.

4. Click Select Covered Item.

   The order line displays Select Covered Item only if your search returns a coverage item. If the search doesn't return the coverage item you require, then contact your order administrator.

5. In the Select Covered Item dialog, select Previous Order.

6. In the Order Line list, click the down arrow, then search for:

   Attribute	Value
   Order	123456

7. Notice that the search results displays details about the order lines you can cover in sales order 123456. Click one of these lines, then click OK.

8. In the Select Covered Item dialog, click Add.

9. In the Order Lines area, notice that the order line includes a reference to the covered item and the number of the sales order that contains the covered item:

10. Submit the order.
