How do I enable cross-docking notifications?

Use cross-docking to immediately sort, consolidate, and load items upon receving, for outbound staging area with minimal to no warehouse storage. Set up the Advanced Inventory Parameters task to enable cross-dock notifications for items where cross-docking suggestions are available.

Here's how:

1. In Setup and Maintenance, search for and select Advanced Inventory Parameters task.
2. Select the organization, and then click .
3. Select Enable cross dock notifications checkbox, set up these fields as needed, and then click Save.
   • Cross Dock Item Category (Required).
   • Demand Due Days.
   • Due Date Sort (Ascending/Descending).
   • Include backorders checkbox.
