Product Lifecycle Management Navigator
You can use the Product Lifecycle Management Navigator to access your saved searches across Product Lifecycle Management objects, add, pin, and copy items, manufacturers, or workflows to and from your clipboard, and directly access and view scheduled processes.
With the saved searches for each object, you can quickly navigate to the records you want without entering the search criteria again. Also, you can refine your search further or create a new saved search.
Tagging lets you organize saved searches and clipboard items for a specific purpose. By assigning tags to relevant objects, you can effortlessly recall these collections when conducting searches, streamlining access to valuable information. You can search for tagged objects using the Tag filter and select a tag group.
You can also navigate to a specific detail tab from the clipboard.
With the scheduled processes tab, you can view details of process and take many more actions which only you as the user can perform.
To access the Navigator, on the News Feed page, click the Product Management icon or click Product Management Overview in Quick Actions. The Product Management landing page is displayed. Click the Navigator tab at the bottom to view the Navigator.
You can pin the Navigator so that it persists in the left-hand panel. When you unpin, it automatically closes. Click the Navigator tab to access it again.
Access Saved Searches
- Easily find and select personal saved searches across objects using the
Filters option. Filters limit searching saved search based on:
- Pinned items
- Object type
- Tag used for an object
- Run saved searches by clicking the link for the object.
- Use the search to search for saved searches by name
- Use the Tag icon and tag the saved search into one of the existing tag groups. You can also create a new tag. When you click the Tag icon, a blank field appears. Type the tag name and press Enter to create the tag. When you hover or click the Tag icon for an object, the associated tag name is displayed.
Access Clipboard
- Add items, manufacturers, or workflows you want to save and access later. You can select the item, manufacturer, or workflow and launch the detail page.
- Items added to the clipboard will be available in the clipboard in the Product Development and Product Hub work areas.
- Pin clipboard items so that they appear at the top (beginning) of the clipboard for quicker access.
- Use the filters to limit searching clipboard items by:
- Pinned or not pinned objects
- Object
- Pinned items are always displayed at the top (beginning) of the clipboard and have their checkboxes selected, followed by objects most recently copied to the clipboard
- Click the Tag icon for an object to view the tagged groups.
Access Scheduled Processes
- Directly access and view the scheduled processes that you have triggered.
- View the following attributes:

- Process ID: For example: 138233
- Status: For example: Succeeded
- Process Name: For example: Download item attachment.
With the Search bar and the two filters - Status and Time Range you can narrow down your search.
- See the expanded hierarchy view for a process that has child processes.
- Take the following actions:
- Resubmit
- Cancel Process
- Put on Hold
- Release Hold
- Force Cancel
- Views:
- Show All: Displays the parent and all the child processes.
- Show Errors: Displays the parent process and all the child processes that have resulted in error.
- Download attachment zip file that contains both the output and log file.
- Manage column
- Process name
- Status
- Process ID
- Scheduled Start
- Attachment
- Parameters
- These attributes are hidden by default:
- Job Path
- Submitted By
- Use the Manage column to expose the columns or hide the ones that are displayed by default.
