Move Work in Process Quantities

If your work center uses manual control of Work in Process (WIP) quantities, then you can view and move completed quantities at an operation to the next operation.

When reporting quantities for a work order operation in a work center enabled for Transfer work-in-process manually, the completed quantities show up under To-Move Quantity. To manually move these into the Ready Quantity for the next operation, select Move Work in Process from the More Actions menu. Select the quantities that you want to move from the To-Move Quantity.

You can also move WIP quantities without starting an operation by searching for operations with To Move quantities. You can then select the Move Work in Process action for an operation.

If using a mobile interface, use the Production Reporting work area under Supply Chain Execution to move WIP quantities.
