Configure Workflow Affected Objects View
You can configure views for the Affected Objects table in workflows. These views determine which affected object, item, descriptive flexfield, and extensible flexfield attributes users can see in the table.
Before you Configure the View
Before you create a Workflow Affected Objects view, make sure the required item attributes are included in the item index. If the required attributes are not indexed, add them to the item index and rebuild the index. After the rebuild is complete, you can add the attributes to a Workflow Affected Objects view.
Include Attributes Required for the View
When you plan the view, include all attributes required for the business process. For example, if users change the lifecycle phase of an item, include both the old lifecycle phase and new lifecycle phase attributes. Context descriptive flexfield navigation opens a side panel - consider this behavior when you order context descriptive flexfield attributes in the view. You can create separate views for supplier users in the supplier portal.
Use the Workflow Affected Objects card in View Management, to configure attributes for all workflow objects in the Affected Objects table.
