Execute Kanban Planning

Use the Execute Kanban Planning scheduled process to trigger Kanban planning for an external forecast. This scheduled process calculates the number of Kanban cards or the Kanban size for all Kanban items that are required to satisfy the demand, as in the external forecast. The item is identified as a Kanban item based on the setup in the item definition for the organization.

When to Use

This scheduled process is initiated automatically as part of the Kanban planning process when you run a Kanban plan. You can’t alter when or how often it runs. You can view the status of the Kanban process from the scheduled process user interface or from the Kanban Plans page.
