Maintain Price Books
Use the Maintain Price Books scheduled process to create the scheduled global price book that contains all available pricing data. As an administrator, you can set up a schedule for this process to publish or price from precalculated data on a regular interval.
When to Use
Maintain Price Books is launched automatically based on a schedule that's set up from the price books UI. The Pricing Administrator can create a schedule for weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly refresh of the price book data using this process. The schedule can be modified at any time, but only the user who creates the schedule can modify it.
The process can be launched on an ad hoc basis from the same UI to regenerate the price book data from the underlying pricing setup data at any time.

Troubleshooting Information
- You can view the status of the price book generation on the scheduled processes UI.
- The validation errors and warning messages that prevented the generation of an individual price book line are displayed in the error log. This doesn't disrupt the generation of the price book itself, even if the process is marked as Error. The price book entry in the price books UI will have the Generated status when processing is complete, unless processing as a whole fails.
- After the process is submitted, you can resubmit, put on hold, cancel process, or release process as provided by the scheduled processes UI.
